55″ Anti-Microbial all-Polypropylene Euro Threaded handle. This is ideal for light to moderate use, but is not recommended for use with deck scrubs or wider (18″) brooms. All plastics in the anti-microbial cleaning tool contain the additive, including the brush filaments and handles(if attached).

Antimicrobial (Biomaster) Information
Based on silver-ion technology, Biomaster protects surfaces in the following three ways:
1. Disrupting growth by binding to the cell wall
2. Interrupting DNA, preventing replication
3. Interfering with and preventing enzyme production
These three modes of action ultimately lead to the bacteria’s death. What’s more, this inorganic antimicrobial is durable, long-lasting and non-leaching, making it perfectly safe for food contact. ‘An antimicrobial is an agent that kills microorganisms or stops their growth’ It prevents the growth or of destroys a wide range of microbes such as bacteria, fungi and moulds. This mustn’t be confused with an ‘antibacterial’ that specifically prevents the growth of bacteria.
